Welcome to the Grade 6 English Website.
As stated on the main page, we will begin the school year with the parts of speech. We are going to begin with the noun, and you may follow along in class with Chapter 11 in your textbook. We will do oral and written exercises and assignments. Remember that nouns are names of people, places, and things. They can be common or proper, concrete or abstract. They can also be collective and compound. Try and learn these terms. Now, we are working on narrative writing and paragraph development.. This is found in Chapters 1 and 9 of your textbook. Remember, you can access your book online.
IMPORTANT NOTE
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COPIED, OR DOWNLOADED THE PRONOUNS FROM THE HOMEPAGE AND PUT INTO YOUR ENGLISH AND SPANISH NOTEBOOKS. WE WILL BE LEARNING THESE SAME PRONOUNS IN SPANISH VERY SOON.
