Welcome to 2009!!

         As many of you know, next week is Catholic Schools Week.  On Monday we will be celebrating “Culture” Day.  Some of you may know this is the day of the Chinese New Year.  In our classroom, we will celebrate all cultures, while learning about the New Year.  Each student is asked to bring in their favorite dish from home.  This can be ANYTHING.  Simply a dessert or any food item your family loves and looks forward to.  This is not a requirement, but it will be fun to learn more about each other and how we live.  In addition, each student may bring in a board game or card game to play.  This can be something you play as a family, or just a loved game.  Students may begin bringing in their games at any time.  However, food can only be brought in Monday.  I have no way of heating anything up, unless it is microwavable.  Please let me know if you have any questions!

        A full Catholic Schools Week schedule will be sent home tomorrow!
