&   Religion: The religion center emphasizes that Jesus loves and cares for everyone.

&   Language Arts: The language arts center develops oral language and vocabulary, listening skills, letter recognition, writing skills, and a positive attitude about reading.

&   Science: Children acquire a basic understanding about nature and develop sensory skills.

&   Music: At this center, children are encouraged to improve their auditory discrimination, auditory memory, and verbal expression.

&   Art: Activities for the art center enhance creative expression, social skills, oral language, small motor skills, imagination, and concepts about size, shape, texture and color.

&   Block Area:  Children develop concepts of number, size, shape, space, and weight.  Through the use of manipulatives and conversation, they also build on language and social skills.

&   Dramatic Play: (house corner): This center encourages imagination and strengthens social and language skills.

&   Small Motor: The activities at this center are designed to develop eye-hand coordination, increase attention span, improve social skills, and build concepts about size, shape, color, and pattern.

   &Larger Motor: The program develops coordination, strength, large muscles,

                          physical fitness, and social skills
