Home Grade 8 Grade 7 Grade 6 Religion Classes

Currently we are studying the thirteen English colonies and how they were established.  The next chapter looks specifically at the colonial way of life in New England, the Breadbasket and the South.  The students are expected to know which of the Thirteen original colonies belonged to which area and how each colony was established.  There is a great chart on page 115 of their textbooks to help them study.

GRADE 8 PROJECT

Create a Board Game

Using all of your creative talents, create a board game the helps players learn and/or review facts, dates, vocabulary, and people during a specific period in history.  At least four players must play the game and it must include the following: a title, a game board, game pieces, and instructions.  Go ahead and include dice, cards, a spinner, or other items that are necessary to play the board game successfully.  You may work in a group of four or less people.  Watch your handwriting and spelling.  Yes, it really does matter.  Be creative and have fun!
